06.09 Is Affirming Catholicism calling you?

June 2009

We are updating our systems, you may receive a telephone call asking for your email address. This is because we are now looking to reduce the costs of communications, i.e. saving postage, printing and administration costs - allowing us to put the savings to better use. This is, of course, beneficial to the environment as well.

Some expected frequently asked questions are:

Q: Will I be called?

A: It depends, our old system could store email addresses but some supporters were registered many years ago and did not have an email address (or did not use it). If we have your email address then we will not call you unless your old email address is no longer working.

Q: Am I obliged to give you my email address?

A: No, but, . . . we would strongly urge you to use this preferred means of communication for the reasons given above.

Q:
I received a telephone call and my answer phone took a message. I did not hear the email address clearly what email was that?

A: The email address to send an email to:

help@affirmingcatholicism.org.uk »

Please state your Christian \  First name + Surname + Telephone Number. We will contact you again if there are any problems.

Q: Will my email address be shared?

A: No, we will not share your email address to any third party without your expressed permission.
